Featuring Bio-Logic technology and the extremely light weight Attiva 3Motion binding system, the Sol suits intermediate to advanced women who want to improve their skiing in a variety of conditions. Game improvement does not come at the expense of performance - the Sol features a full Sensorwood Light core, so as the skier improves there's plenty of performance. Not available until snow base adequately covers obstructions.

Völkl engineers carefully matched the flex of all Bio-Logic models to work in synergy with the new stance and geometry. Stiffer in the front of the ski for quick turn initiation, and softer in the tail for easy turn exit, the Bio-Logic flex enhances flex distribution and gives the skier the ultimate in comfort and control.
Bio-Logic ski geometry – The proprietary Bio-Logic sidecut shapes are more generous in the tip, and narrower in the tail than those of unisex skis. They feature a specific, progressive design that has a tighter radius in the front of the ski for easier turn initiation and a longer radius toward the tail. The narrower tail allows the skier to finish the turn with less effort, allowing her to transition from one turn to the next with ease. This also reduces the load on the knees during the end of the turn.
Many high performance Völkl models feature a layer of spring steel below the ski's core. This metal layer absorbs vibration, providing additional stability for a fabulous blend of smooth-riding, yet lively performance.
Like the Extended Sensorwood Core, the Sensorwood core is CNC milled using vertically laminated poplar and beech wood.
All skis with 3Motion feature Power GripTM construction, which improves power delivery to the edge with a unique 3-Dimensional design. As with Extended Double Grip, the segmented Motion interface allows the ski to be shaped with more material supporting the edge, for better edge grip and smoother turns.
